Olivia & Cassidy are long-time fans of our clothes-brush style Victorian spanking paddle - they even provided the featured image and video. Their favorite wood is Tropical Walnut for a big bright sting!
Olivia’s Old Fashioned takes The Victorian and adds surface area for greater coverage. We’re making it in Tropical Walnut (lighter and more stingy) and Zebrawood (heavier and more thuddy) - try both for a spectrum of sensation!
All wood paddles will have some degree of sting. For maximum thuddiness, use a heavier/denser paddle upon a well-warmed bottom.

How to Choose Your Wood
Choose your wood based on the sensation you hope to achieve. Every paddle will have some degree of sting. The heavier/more dense the wood, the more thuddy it will be. Contact us for recommendations or custom requests.
Tropical Walnut (Central and South America) - Extra light and stingy, Tropical Walnut is a different variety of wood than our heavier American Black Walnut. In addition to being lighter in weight, Tropical Walnut is also darker in color than domestic Walnut.
Zebrawood (West Africa) - Heavy and thuddy, Zebrawood has a unique grain pattern of tan with black stripes that earn this wood its Zebra moniker.

If your paddle begins to look or feel dry, refresh the wood using furniture oil or wax. Apply according to the instructions and buff off using a soft cloth - an old tee shirt or inside-out sock will do. Suggested products: Walrus Oil Wood Wax, Howard's Feed-n-wax
